Oceanside 70.3 indoor training

Raining and windy today and had 56 mile ride on training schedule along with 8 mile run. Thank God for computrainer. Selected Oceanside 70.3 on the 3D software, plugged in iPad for music and off to the race. Forgot mix my Vitrgo and decided to train without it. Averaging 170 watts and 3.5 watts per kg I felt a bonk coming on at about mile 40. My husband quickly gave me a concentrated dose of Vitargo and within a couple minutes I felt completely fine again. My opinion is that Vitargo is the ONLY proven product line out there. The studies that are behind it are amazing and if you ever get the chance to speak with Arland Macasieb with Fil/Am tri club or Anthony Armata who is the research behind Vitargo take the time to get all the details. I have been using it for 2 years and I KNOW IT WORKS FOR ME….:) Finished the 56 mile 3D course had a quick lunch, a short nap and went to the gym for 8 mile run at 7:30 pace. Sooo excited the shin splints that have sidelined me from any running at all outside of races appear to be gone. Looking to improve my run times by a bunch this year!

Looking for training partners in Sacramento area for some long rides and runs if anyone is interested. Email me at trigirl.ph@gmail.com and lets connect.
